Yes, with some care. Always dilute oils before applying to children’s skin — one drop of essential oil to one teaspoon of carrier oil is a safe starting ratio. For diffusing around babies under 12 months, keep sessions short (30 minutes maximum) and ensure the room is well ventilated. Lavender and Frankincense are among the gentlest oils for families. Avoid strong oils like Peppermint and Eucalyptus around very young children.

For most standard diffusers, start with 4-6 drops. You can adjust up or down based on the size of your room and how strong you prefer the scent. Smaller rooms need fewer drops — a bedroom typically needs 4 drops while an open living area may need 8-10. Always start low and increase gradually until you find your sweet spot.
